Pasta - Korean Drama

Seo Yoo Kyung the kitchen assistant of La Sfera Italian Restaurant was so happy that finally she gets to be a cook. Little did she know that a major change is going to happen to her life. A new head chef, Choi Hyun Wook was just hired and within hours all the female kitchen workers were made to go including Seo Yoo Kyung. Why did Choi hate female so much ? Will Seo get her job back ? You will have to watch it yourself to find out.


Lee Sun Gyun played Choi Hyun Wook, the head chef of La Sfera. He was in Coffee Prince as the guy with the dog. Here he played a bad temper chef with very high attention to detail and perfection. A chef that doesn't like working with female chef in his kitchen and wouldn't date any female that can cook better than him.

Gong Hyo Jin played Seo Yoo Kyung, the most junior chef in the La Sfera kitchen. She got a job at La Sfera in a unique way and is very persistent in hanging on to her job and perfecting her cooking skill. She has a secret admirer that is only known as Mr. Cactus.

Alex played Kim San, a man that was first known as just 'customer', then turned to landlord then to restauranteur. He likes Chef Oh but didn't get the same response. I like this guy, he is cute and very kind.

Lee Ha Nui played Chef Oh Seo Young, an ambitious woman who'd do whatever it takes to be number one chef. She is not as mean as other villain in other korean drama though. Towards the end I actually had sympathy towards her.

I like this drama. It's funny, it's cute and it's delicious. I hate those drama that were predictable so this one got an extra star for not being one of those. And as a foodie I gave it an extra star for showing so much delicioso food on it. I never had the same strong feeling towards any Korean drama since IRIS. :)
