NH Conference Centre Koningshof Hotel

Room key. This hotel is part of the NH Hotels which was based in Madrid, Spain

This hotel was located just a bit in the wooded area in Veldhoven. We needed an accomodation for 1 night and I happened to stumble upon this hotel on Agoda. Looking from the pictures and the reviews we decided to make a reservation.

The taxi cost from Veldhoven would roughly be around EUR15. From the Eindhoven airport maybe around EUR 26. We took it from a strip mall just off the street that lead to the hotel and it cost us EUR 13. The taxi from the airport only allowed 4 people in a taxi. While from other part of cities seemed to be fine with 4 adults and 1 kid.

Lobby Area

We arrived at night so I only got to see the lobby area which was pretty nice. And when the receptionist had to explain to us how to get to our room and later on we found that we were lost. I realized that this hotel is huge. Next to the lobby was an Italian restaurant and a bar. Also a dining area for breakfast which was big.



They had an indoor swimming pool and a gym next to it. I didn't get to use the swimming pool but hubby stopped by to take a look at it and he said it was decent size.

Our room had a connecting door to the adjacent room. It was nice since we were a big group and occupied both rooms. There were big windows in our room. One of the window opened out and in the morning we were able to see how green it was outside. Our room overlooked part of the parking lot but the surrounding are of the hotel was all woods.

Standard Double room. The only issue I had was the 2 beds pushed together instead of 1 double bed.

Bathroom was big with a standing shower. Shower gel, shampoo, and lotion were provided along with a hair dryer attached to the bathroom wall. A sponge was also provided. I have never been to a hotel where I was provided sponge. That was a nice touch.

Breakfast was served from 7 - 10 at a big dining area next to lobby. There different type of bread,  ham, cheeses. Different type of cereals, muesli, and yogurt. Hard boiled eggs or scrambled eggs, your choice. Different types of fruit. Hot drinks were abundant and so was juices like orange juice, mixed juice, apple juice, cranberry juice, etc. By the time I was done, I just felt like I needed to lie down.
