Noodles & Company
Finally had the chance to try the Noodles & Company in Cupertino. We saw this about a month ago. This location at the corner of the Target mall used to be a Baja Fresh.
We went there with our little 12 year old neighbor. There was a paper menu outside with pictures so we stopped by first. By the time we were at the register it didn't take long to place our order. Though I changed my mind from Japanese pan noodles to Thai hot pot. And I was glad that I did.
Thai hot pot was the winner of our three orders. It had enough heat in the soup which goes along well with the coconut milk based broth. Topped with shredded chicken and pulled pork which according to hubby saved the dish. The noodle was thin rice noodle which in our opinion was undercooked so it couldn't absorb the flavor of the broth. We didn't care for the toasted flat bread on the side. It didn't quite go with the soup. And I think it would has been nicer with a slice of lime on the side to add a bit oomph to the Thai flavor.
The Thai curry soup that hubby ordered had the same soup based as the Thai hot pot but without the chicken and pork and waaaaaay smaller portion. We didn't realize that the price was less than $6 compare to the Thai hot pot that was around $8.50s. It only filled half of the bowl it was served in. Not a good choice unless you like smaller portion or vegetarian.
I don't think we will back there again.
