Manohara Hotel - Magelang, Indonesia

This hotel is located within the compound of Borobudur Temple. As guests of the hotel we were given multiple entry pass for the temple. That's the reason why we chose this hotel.

The rooms are bungalow style with gardens around it. It's a small hotel with only 35 rooms so it's quite easily fully booked. And this hotel is the only one with direct access to Borobudur Temple.

Room had wood laminate floor and a glass rolling door to a patio. We had difficulty opening the door so we didn't get to enjoy it. Water kettle with cups, tea, etc were also provided. We didn't get to use this since we had breakfast in the cafe area.

Bathroom was a bit small with a glass door standing shower. The water from the shower was so weak when we first used it though we managed to finish showering with difficulty. Afterwards we called front office and reported the issue. A maintenance guy was sent within minutes. He took out the shower head which I think was clogged. And afterwards the water flow was strong again. That made me think whether the room hasn't been occupied for a while.

Breakfast consisted of nasi goreng and a few dishes, pastries, bread and one could also request omelette from the egg station. Tea, coffee, water, and juices were provided to accompany breakfast. All in all I enjoyed the breakfast while taking in the garden view.
