Pho Factory - Milpitas

Vermicelli with grilled prawn and pork
A friend took us out for lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. I noticed that it was another restaurant before when we last visited Pho Kim Long that was across from it.

When we finally went in the place was actually quite tiny. So the tables were like crammed close to each other. But the place looked pretty new and clean. The tables and chairs were dark wooden chairs. And they were pretty high tech. The lady that took our orders used a tablet to send the orders to the kitchen. Maybe that's why some orders came out pretty fast.

Shaken beef with tomato rice

I ordered a vermicelli bowl with grilled pork. Hubby ordered chicken pho. Our friend and his family ordered a beef pho with everything and shaken beef with tomato rice. My vermicelli bowl was nice though I felt that it was a bit oily, maybe from the grilled pork ? Hubby didn't like his chicken pho because the chicken was chunky along with all the bones and the soup was way too oily. What happened to chicken tender pho ? He felt cheated. It was good that they offer fresh noodle but unfortunately the fresh noodle alone didn't help when the soup and the chicken didn't come up to par.

We did get to try a bite of the shaken beef which was tender and had nice flavor.
