Mercure Setiabudi Hotel - Bandung

After browsing through hundreds of reviews on Agoda. I decided to choose this hotel. This trip my dad was hosting a few guests from Singapore and also my other relatives from Hong Kong. So I decided to splurge a bit.

We got deluxe rooms and each room was nicely decorated with huge painting on the wall on the back of the beds. There was a purple color lounge chair with pillow and a desk and chair. A French door opened out to a balcony with view of mountain and swimming pool below. The bathroom had standing shower and magnifying mirror which I found useful when applying make up. ha..ha..

Hubby pointed out that the lower bathroom basin and also a big glass window with blinds were well thought. They were designed for families. Enabling children to wash hands themselves and for parents to monitor their activities in the bathroom straight from the bedroom.

TV had enough channels to entertain us though we didn't spend too much time in front of tv. Our deluxe rooms had one free complimentary mini bar that consisted of a few bags of chips and few bottles of soft drinks. Four plush pillows gave additional points to the room.

Hotel has a few pools with different depth. We didn't try the pools but we did try out their tennis table by checking out a pair of bats and ping pong ball from the pool attendant. Another thing that we didn't try was the fitness center because neither of us brought our sneakers.

Another extra point for the hotel was the breakfast. It was by far the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. Tons of varieties for everyone. From typical hotel breakfast like toast and fried rice all the way to freshly made juice and Indonesian traditional snacks.
