Limo Bus to Osaka Kansai Airport

Me and hubby are normally train person when travelling. Trains are easier to figure out and the route is easier to see ahead of time for planning purposes. But this time in Osaka to fly to Sapporo we have to go through Kansai Airport which is further away from the city. To make it worse, it was just after the tropical storm that swept through Osaka and caused a tanker to hit the bridge connecting Kansai and the mainland. The train to the airport was scheduled to start the day we fly but I didn't want to risk any mishaps and missed our flight. So we stuck to the original plan of using limo bus.

The bus has a few pick up locations scattered in the city all the way to Kyoto too. Our hotel was close to Abeno Harukas so we decided to go there instead of Namba area. Though the website didn't really provide very clear direction on the bus stop.

We found out that the bus stop was outside Osaka Abenobashi station. Tickets can be purchased from a vending machine at the waiting area which was a small room on the left hand side if you are facing the entrance of the station. Please see the image I enclosed here.

At the time of our trip the cost of the bus ticket was JPY1200 (USD10.70). Tickets have to be purchased the day of the trip so don't buy your tickets ahead of time. There's no seat numbers on the ticket just make sure to line up at the bus stop about ten minutes before departure to ensure you get seating on the bus.

Make sure tag shows the correct terminal or else you would have to hunt down your suitcase later on

An older gentleman would line up your suitcase and give you a ticket to match with your suitcase at destination. Make sure the ticket shows the correct terminal.

This is the website for the limo bus in case you need additional information and other pick up locations.
