Main Kabab Hut - Vancouver, BC

Passed by this restaurant a couple of times since last summer. I think they also undergone remodeling. It looked nice from outside now. Two weekends in a row we tried to go there but both times it was not open. Couldn't even check their business hours because none was posted at the door.

Finally last Sunday we happened to be passing by it and saw that it was open. So we decided to change our lunch plan and stopped by instead. There was only one person working. Three tables were occupied. We placed our order at the counter and paid.

It took about ten minutes to get our orders. Relatively decent time considering it's a one person show. My chicken kebab was smaller than expected but tasty. Chicken inside didn't taste like grilled chicken but it was well seasoned. Included in the wrap was cut lettuce, sliced tomato, onion and some mayo like sauce. Also the wrap used naan instead of bigger wrapping bread sheet.

Hubby's kebab platter had a combo of lamb and chicken kebab. Platter came with side of rice and some salad. Looked like a healthy combination meal. Meat was well seasoned though a bit dry.

By the end of our meal then hubby mentioned his chai order. I completely forgot about it. And it's hard to check whether we were charged for the chai since our receipt didn't have a break down. When we asked about it the owner was apologetic. But they got busy by then since lunch time was in full swing. We did get our chai later on though.
