Thai Son Restaurant - Vancouver, BC

Have been seeing this pho place ever since we found out about Value Village on Victoria in Vancouver. It's located just two doors down from Value Village on separate strip mall. Parking can be tricky in the strip mall - be prepared to park a few blocks away in the neighborhood parking.

The restaurant has a good corner location on the strip mall so it's bright inside. They were busy when we arrived around lunch time on Sunday. There was a line of people waiting to pay at the cashier. But we were seated very fast.

Menu was brought to us but we needed time to decide so we were not able to order immediately. But as soon as we placed our order they arrived fast. We were pretty impressed by their efficiency. My noodle soup was the special beef noodle soup with almost everything - rare beef, flank, tendon, tripe. The soup was nice and enough protein for me to even share with hubby. Definitely worth the price.

Hubby ordered seafood noodle soup and he had only good thing to say about it. My father in law ordered a rice platter with pork chop and sunny side up egg. It was a huge plate with two big size pork chop. He didn't eat much so we had more than half brought home. It was a good value for the price of $12.99. The pork chop was thinly cut and well marinated. Grilled to a golden brown color.

Parking is the biggest drawback here. So a second visit is probably not very soon unless we're in the area.
