Bob Marley - A Tribute to Freedom (Orlando, Florida)

After missing a chance to check this place out due to a corporate event we made sure to stop by on our last night at Universal Studios. They only open for dinner at around 4 pm. We were going to just pick up dinner and go back to enjoy it at our hotel room.

These were what we ordered : curry shrimp and reggae Jamaican jerk chicken. The wait time was normal, between 10-15 minutes. The restaurant was still quiet then, there was only one table occupied at the time. The inside of the restaurant was actually very nice. It's like dining in someone's courtyard.

The jerk chicken was a huge portion with half of chicken. The chicken was well seasoned with the spicy jerk sauce and grilled to golden brown. Very flavorful and moist. Along with the dish came rice and also sweet plaintain. And even with the take out, they still included an orchic flower as decoration. The sweet plaintain was so sweet and by itself almost tasted like dessert. Yummy

Hubby's curry shrimp consisted of four big size prawn cooked with okra in some sweet savory curry like sauce. It's not too spicy but just with a hint of heat. Served on a side of coconut rice, spinach, and bell pepper cooked with yellow squash. The prawn was nice and sweet went very well with okra and the rice. Soo recommended.

Both orders were delicious. Too bad we didn't stay long enough because we would like to try other dishes as well. Definitely try the sweet plaintain if you do have a chance to check it out. Sweet, buttery and rich.
