Lithia Springs Resort & Wine Garden, OR

This hotel was recommended by a friend who just came back from their recent roadtrip. They did their roadtrip in February and got a very good deal staying there. But what intrigued us was the private tub with hot spring water in the room. Hubby has been talking about how nice it would be to soak in the hot spring like the one in Japan.

So we quickly did some research and made a reservation. The price has increased because spring comes and more people start to travel again. It’s just a beginning of a busy season. But the price we got was still very decent compared to the normal price.

We arrived as early as it is allowed for us to check in. The seating area next to the lobby looked like it came out of a model home. So cozy and homey.

Check in was fast and we got a room facing the back garden. It was on the second floor with a tiny patio shared with next room. The room itself was so pretty with the dominant white color. Almost everything in the room were white. From towels, bedsheet, robes, all the way to our alarm clock which also works as iphone docking station. There were tons of pillows provided. I don’t think we even used all of them.

One corner of the room was a tub for the mineral water from the hot spring. The water came out was hot but there's option for cold water to get the right temperature. We did some soaking up the day we arrived. Hubby enjoyed the soaking after a day driving.

Another highlight for our stay there was the breakfast. It was a spread ! We would be happy to just have toast, bread or oatmeal. But we found french toast, apricot scones, scrambled egg, oatmeal, cereals, hashed potatoes and fruits. The funniest part was hubby was craving french toast that morning. So he was more than happy to have more than one serving of french toast. 😂

When we arrived it was their tea time and at the same time wine tasting. We didn't attend any as we were too busy enjoying our bath. But looking at the spread at breakfast I would assume, the tea time would come with some cookies or maybe biscuits ? 😉
