Holiday Inn Express and Suites - Lincoln City, OR, US
Location wise this hotel is pretty close to shops and restaurants. We were able to walk to Safeway and some restaurants in the neighborhood. The hotel looked pretty new and well maintained. There was indoor swimming pool and possibly jacuzzi on ground level though we didn't try it. We also saw a gym. Next to the entrance was a small set up with printer and desktop. Though we saw a sign that it's out of order. We contacted the front desk to help print out a page and she was very helpful about it.
Our room faced the greens at the back of hotel which actually has additional parking area. The room has lighter more modern looking simple design furniture. Our bed was huge with plenty of pillows. There was a day bed or lounging chair next to the bed with a tiny table which I understand could be used as a notebook table. I think it would be nice to use that lounging couch as a work area. Though there was also a desk and chair for that purpose.
A Keurig coffee machine and a microwave were there just by the sink which was conveniently outside the bathroom. I love the compact squarish sink and the 'halo' lights around the mirror. 😂 Not sure what to call those lights surrounding the mirror instead of the old style lights above the mirror. The halo lights gives soft lights which reminds me of those selfie lights.
Let's talk about breakfast. The breakfast was served downstairs at a small dining area next to the reception. There was a coffee counter which was open 24/7 and I guess refreshed every so often for anyone needing it. We didn't try it other than during breakfast time. The selection for breakfast was pretty good. Hot items like scrambled egg, sausages and bacon were there. Pastries, bread and pancakes. Bananas and apples were also available. For me and hubby those were more than enough to cover our breakfast.
So I'm more than happy to say if we ever come to Lincoln City, this hotel will be our first choice !
