Eating in Kota Kinabalu - Malaysia (Last Part)

Last day in town and we were looking for place to hang out until evening. Centre Point Sabah mall was on my list. So that was our first stop. There was a food court at the basement. Most of the food here was Malay food. They looked amazing though. So we picked one and grabbed our food.

The funny thing was I saw other people grabbed their plates and went to pay at the cashier. But when we went there we were told to just sit down. I didn't understand. In the end the cashier gave up and accepted our payment. Turned out that we could just sit and another person would go to our table and calculated our "loot" and gave us a paper noting how much which we would use to go pay later. 😐

We were just curious with its laksa. Turned out to be fine. Could use thicker broth.

Busy place. Opens in the morning only,

Their specialty seemed to be : pork kidney soup and plain noodle with dark sauce.

I think we ordered most of their specials : wide noodle with dark sauce and tofu with meat.

Old Town White Coffee was our last stop for meal on the way to airport. We went and checked out the Sunday market on Gaya street. But there was no seatings. More for people to go and buy food and bring back home or hotel even. But we didn't have hotel rooms anymore.
