Checked out this place with family on a weekend. Went there around 12. Not too busy and were seated right away. They had some birdcage looking seating for maybe up to 4 people. But we got a regular table for 6.

This one was nasi bejeg. Literally means smashed rice. It's rice mixed with shredded chicken and chopped up snake bean salad. Served with a hard boiled egg as a side.

Empal beef. Thinly cut beef cooked in spices. On a sweet side and served with rice. Nothing special.

Looking forward to try this crispy pork belly. But it turned out to be disappointment. The skin portion wasn't crispy at all. Day old ? Or just bad cooking technique. The skin portion was chewy.

The ayam betutu probably the best dish for that day. It's supposedly cooked for hours. The meat fell apart easily and very tender. The chicken was well marinated and fragrant with spices.

Our group ordered 2 steam rice. I haven't had a chance to try it yet but my brother said the rice was stale. By then hubby who was about to dig in stopped half way and sniffed the rice suspiciously. Turned out to be stale as well. The other 2 rice served to my folks were fine. At the end of our meal, a man came to our table and asked for input. We brought up the stale rice incident. No apologies offered let alone free dessert or discount. 😏

Not recommended.
