Hopping Around Cities with Hop Inn - Thailand

I was first introduced to Hop Inn last year on our first Thailand road trip to Phuket. We stayed a night at Hop Inn in Chumphon.

A couple of weeks ago, we went on a weekend trip to Chiangmai. Also stayed at another Hop Inn. Good location. Near to the hip area of Nimmanahaeminda Road.

So this time, during the planning of another Thailand road trip, our friend found out about loyalty program with Hop Inn. Membership is free and members get 5% off room rates. That's just one of the perks.

Hop Inn hotels are pretty basic. No swimming pool nor gym. Just clean bed and bath with free hot drinks machine similar to nespresso. If you like your drink hot for the road trip, bring your own mug and take it to go. 😎

The layout of the rooms are pretty similar for every location. I guess it's a winning blue print, why mess with it, right ? Bathroom next to the entrance, another door to a tiny balcony for the smokers. Then a big window for view of outside. If you ever need a hair dryer, you could always borrow it from the front desk.

Another unique thing is by the tiny coffee machine area, there's always an activity map specific to the area. The first time I saw that I didn't realize that it was unique to the area. Only later on it came down on me. This activity map will come handy for those who didn't come prepare. Or others who happen to have spare time and wondering what's available. 💕
