Visa Hotel - Hua Hin, Thailand
I chose this hotel based on its price and location. It's close by to a supermarket, Villa Market. It's also close by to another supermarket, Tops Supermarket. And last, it's relative close to Market Village, one of the Hua Hin's mall.
The price per night was within our budget of THB 1000 (USD 27.80). It also has a balcony with a set of chairs and table in case we wanted to sit outside. I like to have a balcony (albeit a small one) when we stay more than a few days in one place. It feels more like a home. Unfortunately our room won't have a kitchenette or an inside laundry place.
We got a room on the highest floor (5th floor) facing the side of the building. Our view was roof tops of lower buildings around the hotel. Not an ideal view but it's quiet.
This Visa Hotel is not on the side of the road adjacent to the water front. That's also a reason why the room rates are cheaper. But we don't care for that. I don't particularly like to go to the beach. Hubby doesn't mind crossing the road to get to run along the beach.
In term of amenities, this hotel had a small but cute swimming pool. There was no gym unfortunately. There was breakfast provided but we didn't purchase the package so couldn't comment on that.
