This listing we rented through Agoda and is actually located at The Prio Condo close to Central Chiang Mai Airport Mall. I have always curious about this Central Mall close to the airport. Curious about the neighborhood and also what's available close by. I wanted to see if it's possible for us to live longer term in the area in the future.
It's an apartment complex but apparently the host has an office there. As I contacted them when we arrived and someone came down to meet us at the lobby. The staff also had paperwork prepared for us to sign and gave us the access card. Funny thing was we could just left the access card at a box in the lobby when we checked out.
The positive things about this place was the electronic lock. It's easier to not have to carry a key and fumble with a key every time we go in and out. Another thing was the swimming pool and gym. Both were great and we enjoyed using those facilities even though we were only there for one night.
Another positive thing was the proximity to Central Mall just across the street. This Central Mall though not as big as Central Festival but the food choices there was amazing. And we found out that the food court at the basement opens early enough for breakfast.
The negative thing about the unit was the utensils, furniture and the TV. Well, it's still possible to update the utensils, but most likely not the TV and furniture. 😅 The bedroom was actually big with a decent size closet but the kitchen was smaller. Not a deal breaker.
