MyViets - Petaling Jaya, Malaysia

This was our first meal in Malaysia. It's just happened that this restaurant was at our apartment building so it was very convenient. And it's been a while since we had vietnamese noodle soup. So I was practically drooling just thinking about it. 😋

We ordered two bowls of noodle soup. One beef pho, one spicy noodle soup and one banh mi with lemon grass chicken. Yup, seemed a lot but that was actually our first proper meal for the day. We left Jakarta in the morning so only brought hard boiled egg for breakfast. Of course later on we had some snacks at the airport. Also had meals aboard Air Asia but airline meals are kind of tiny.

When we first had a sip of the broth of the pho, I was like yes this is the pho that we missed. The broth was mild, not much spices tasted but the MSG taste was also not overly powering. Just nice. Not overly salty either.

The spicy pho noodle soup was on the saltier side. The banh mi was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Not too big and not heavy. Just right.

Only after we finished and went to settle the bill we found out that they were actually cashless. But the cashier was nice and took our payment in cash. While we stayed there for two weeks, we went there three times in total. 😁
