Chinese Noodle Đệ Nhất Sủi Cảo Hoàn Mỹ - Danang, Vietnam

This place was just a bit off the busy tourist area of Danang. The street where it was located was mainly visited by locals. There were quite a few restaurants, bakeries and cafes. I like to see Google reviews of a restaurant before we go to visit. Mainly I wanted to make sure that the place looked clean, the neighborhood is safe. What do people say about the place and what type of food served there.

Having looked at the menu prior I knew what I wanted to order. There were boiled dumplings (sui cao hap/nuoc), fried dumpling (sui cao chien), dimsum and fresh noodle. I tried to try everything but in the end since it's just the two of us, we could only try boiled dumplings no soup, fried tofu skin and beef noodle soup.

The beef noodle was decent but the broth was mild. I feel that the broth had room for improvement. A bit more bold and stronger would have been better. The noodle had decent texture. The dumplings were good and we got four different flavor (pork chives, cabbage pork, etc).

The fried tofu skin was a bit unexpected. I thought it would be fried tofu skin with pork shrimp filling and then steamed. But this one was actually deep fried. The tofu skin was crispy. Delicious but I read the menu wrong. 😅
