Deer Alley Restaurant德意小馆 - Vancouver, Canada

Had a lunch date with a friend here. It's close by to her office in downtown Vancouver. I gladly accepted the chosen restaurant since it's been a while I visited downtown Vancouver. I'm curious what has changed.

The day was sunny and cool. Typical spring weather in Vancouver. Luckily it's not raining. 😍 I'd take a cloudy day over rain.

The small restaurant was pretty busy, we picked a small table just enough for us. The menu was quite extensive from appetizer, soup to rice and noodle. My friend suggested a noodle to share. I love chili wonton, the spiciness and the tanginess of the vinegar work well with wonton. I chose chili wonton after confirming that she can handle spicy food. She then suggested an additional takoyaki.

We continued our conversation while waiting for our orders to arrive. The beef noodle soup looked pretty legit like the one we had in Taipei. The taste was yummy too. The portion was enough for both of us to share. The chili wonton and takoyaki were both awesome as well.
