HL Peninsula Hot Pot & Grill - Burlingame, USA

Our friend took us here for dimsum. They claimed that the restaurant is amazing as one could enjoy dimsum while watching planes land at SFO Airport. 😆

It was Sunday morning and we got there just after they opened around 9:30 am. People were rushing in either to this location or the one next door HL Peninsula Pearl. They are under same management company. But our friend said the big windows at HL Peninsula Hot Pot & Grill makes it a good place to view landing planes.

As we walked in we noticed that the tables near the windows were all occupied. So we reluctantly took the closest table to the window. As we were looking at the menu, the party who took one of the window tables moved away. We quickly notified the waitress that we'd take that table.

The dimsum here is by order only. No carts wandering around anymore. We placed the order for food and tea and sat back to enjoy the view. I must say this was most likely the only dimsum place with an incredible view. 😁

The food was amazing as well. Huge portion. I forgot how big the portion could be. By then I realized we over ordered. We got shumai, hargow, stir fry rice stick,  rice roll with huge prawn, sticky rice in lotus leaves, pan fried pot sticker.
