Simple Noodle Soup in Dali Ancient Town - Dali, China

We had light breakfast and just a few snacks here and there. Wondering around in Dali Ancient Town looking for a place to eat. We finally passed by this small restaurant away from the busy touristy area. The noodle soup picture looked inviting so we walked in.

The young woman tending the place was very friendly. She explained what they had which was noodle soup (米线) and also hot pot. We selected two different noodle soup and a side dish of extra beef for protein.

That restaurant was empty so it felt very private. Outside was still a bit gloomy that's why the prospect of a hot bowl of noodle soup was very mouth-watering. Then our noodle soup was ready and the same young woman told us where to get the seasoning for our bowl of soup.

The total of our orders was RMB 73 (USD 10.19). It's not totally filling but we always save room for others that may show up later.
