JX Hometown Pluit - Jakarta, Indonesia

This JX restaurant was just opened for two months. It's on top of All Fresh supermarket by the riverside a few doors down from Asan Batak Grill.

The set up of this restaurant is almost the same as the other JX near Muara Karang Market. As soon as one arrived on second floor, a staff member will greet us and escorted us to a table. In the middle of the big hall there's a set up with a varieties of snacks. We could pick the ones we like and be sent to the table. There's also more dishes to be ordered from the menu.

We got some snacks and ordered some chicken bihun, stir fry rice noodle and stir fry curly noodle. The snacks arrived fast. Especially the ones that did not need to be warmed up. Later we got our stir fry rice noodle and stir fry curly noodle. The chicken bihun were the last ones.

The verdict ? It's a nice place to visit when you want to bring some guests for breakfast. But not for day to day meals. The value is hard to justify. My chicken bihun cost IDR 50k but the portion was so small even for a small eater like me it's just literally a few slurp.
