Shabusen Yakiniku House - Vancouver, Canada
This restaurant has been around for quite a while. This was not our first visit but we like coming here to reminisce the past. 😂
We love buffet so every so often we would like to visit one. This time in Vancouver, we were contemplating on Indian buffet but in the end we decided to give Shabusen a visit.
It was a nice sunny day. Not too hot yet when we finished our errand at Cambie. Seeing that it was a beautiful day, we decided to walk to Shabusen instead. Killing time and building appetite at the same time. Indeed I was hungry even before we got there.
We got a table at the corner with grill. We got a combo sushi and grill so we wouldn't be too carbed up. We get an order form and we marked how many we wanted for each item. The sushi roll goes by pieces so were agedashi tofu and chicken karaage. We started with a few pieces for each item making sure we could finish them. The sushi came pretty fast but the deep fried items like chicken and tempura were a bit slower. The meat items also came fast so we could start grilling.
We enjoyed our meal and we didn't feel that we had to eat a lot because it's a buffet. So I don't quite understand our friends who said they could not visit buffet anymore.
Total spent CAD 70 (USD 49.49) for two including tips.
