Richmond Pizza and L.A Chicken
We went there during lunch time so LA Chicken was busy. There was a line outside because there were like 3-4 people inside. Everyone was patiently waiting for their order. Hubby went in and put in an order of two pieces of chicken only. Yeah..we had a pizza order at the same time and fried chicken is better enjoyed fresh. While we waited for our chicken order, hubby went across the street to pick up our pizza from Richmond Pizza. See how easy it is to get all your fave in one place. 😃
For the pizza we called ahead and ordered a medium size chicken jalapeno. I don't quite remember the price, but I think it was less than $20. And I was told it would be done in 10 minutes ! Our pizza was ready when hubby went to pick it up. Hot just out of the oven and smelled so yummy. Good thing our chicken was ready almost the same time and off we went home to enjoy both.
The fried chicken just as we suspected was very tasty and crunchy because it literally made for us as we waited. It's good to go during rush hour like lunch time when everything was just freshly made. It took a bit of wait for it's all worth it.
The pizza was very nice. It's a bit thicker than normal pizza but didn't seem as thick as the Chicago style deep dish pizza. The jalapeno added a bit kick to the normal pizza taste but not really spicy. We would be ordering this pizza again in the future as we finally found a substitute for the Chicago Fire. In SF Bay Area California we used to order this deep dish pizza from Pizza Chicago. Our favorite there was called Great Chicago Fire.
