Last Day in KL : Sampai Jumpa Kuala Lumpur

Hakka noodle
Breakfast by the road side
I woke up hungry since we had light dinner the night before. This hotel didn't provide breakfast. I don't know if there was an option to get breakfast through hotel. But there was a small cafe downstairs next to lobby area.

We're in Kuala Lumpur, I felt that it's a waste of room in our tummies if we just settled with typical hotel breakfast. So we were out looking for breakfast around 8 in the morning. Worst comes to worst we just head to McDonald for breakfast if we couldn't find anything opened.

We started walking towards the left hand side of the hotel, going through the construction site (MRT project) walking along Jalan Bukit Bintang. Most of the restaurants were not opened and the opened ones didn't look appetizing. In the end, we turned around towards the back of hotel and just two doors down from our hotel there was this establishment that looked like a small coffee shop style restaurant.

We sat down on the tables set up by the road side. A man came out with picture menu. Awesome. Mind you, a lot of traditional coffee shop (aka Kopi Tiam) we've been to didn't have written menu. Most of the stalls have their own specialty and normally only served one or two items.
Pan mien with lots of topping

I ordered a bowl of pan mien and hubby ordered a bowl of hakka noodle. They both turned out to be very good. Though I was originally a bit skeptical since it was a tourist area. But my pan mien had a bit spiciness to it so it sort of reminded me of the Singaporean minced pork noodle (bak cho mee).

Lunch at KLIA
I heard from our friend that there's a lot of food available at KLIA airport. So we decided to go to airport earlier and ate lunch there before our flight.
Assam Laksa

Chicken rice combo

So true, there were so many options available. Compared to so many airports we've been to, KLIA 2 had the most food options. In the end we settle with food court. I chose a bowl of hot assam laksa and hubby went for the chicken rice. We were both satisfied with our choice. The price was also reasonable for airport.
