One of the popular item from Hokkaido is their milk products including ice cream. Soft serve being one of them. But hubby didn't limit himself to just soft serve. So when we were in Sapporo we also tried cold plate ice cream at Sapporo Factory. I'm usually not a dessert type of person but I would say that matcha ice cream was very good. During the mixing process on the cold plate, coconut meat and pecans were added. Those additions gave the ice cream interesting texture.
