Stayed at this hotel a couple of weeks ago. As usual we reserved our hotel through Agoda. I picked this hotel because it looks like there are plenty of eateries around. I was hoping that we don't have to take taxis/Grab around town just to eat.
We made it into town using Grab from the high speed train station Tegalluar. After lunch in Cihampelas area we took Grab to our hotel. It's pretty much just around the corner. There was traffic going to the hotel as it's located in smaller road but high traffic area. I saw a few restaurants before we reached our hotel and there was a huge outlet shop not far from the hotel.
The check in was a bit longer than expected. We gave our IDs and was told that they needed to verify the room. So we waited in the lobby for another ten minutes before they finally brought us our key card.
Another positive thing of this hotel was their seating area by the window. It's bright and I think it's perfect area to relax with a book. And maybe a cold drink !😎 Though their shower, restroom, sinks arrangement was out of ordinary. It's an open area so it's hard to get privacy when you come out of the shower. And the toilet was around the corner from it. Yes, it's weird.
I like their bathroom kit tray. Different from other hotels. They are very generous with their items. Their dental kits contained a small size toothpaste instead of a tiny tiny one time use toothpaste. They also provided two small bottle of water. Other than that, there were two big bottle of water (maybe 1 litre each) for purchase. During check in process we have been notified of those two bottles and the charges related to it.
