Airbnb at Riverine Kuching - Kuching, Malaysia

It's been a while since we visited Kuching so this time we decided to explore more of Kuching. Our first stop was Riverine and we got a room there through Airbnb.

The day we arrived our flight was delayed by more than 1 hour. So by the time we reached our Airbnb was pretty late. Luckily the instruction was clear and we managed to collect keys with no issue. I just had this worry since the time we stayed at a place in Osaka where we couldn't get in the complex. It was a misunderstanding but nevertheless things happen.

The Riverine complex is indeed huge. The swimming pool is on a separate level with the whole level dedicated just to swimming pool. There were three pools altogether. Two for children and one bigger one for adults. It's a decent size pool with view of the river. Unfortunately while we were there, the pool was not open on Saturdays.

We got a room with a huge balcony. On pictures it looked nice. We didn't realize how much we like the place until we moved to the next Airbnb. Our room was at the corner and with plenty of windows so the room was very bright. 

The amenities of the unit was enough to make us feel like home. There were pots, water kettle, utensils and washer. We had a few simple meals at home and most breakfast at home while staying there. There were plenty of eateries in the neighborhood. There's also a traditional market within walking distance from our apartment.
