Bormill Food Centre - Kuching, Malaysia

This food center was located across the street from our Airbnb at The Podium. From the reviews I read people were saying that the fried noodle (char kway teow) was good.

It was Sunday so crossing the road was easier and we made it to food center in no time. I think it was most likely busier earlier in the morning. A few items that I wanted to order were no longer available. In the end I settled for the basic noodle (kolo mee)

Hubby ordered the fried noodle that he has been thinking about. This fried noodle supposedly used sambal but when hubby tried it and I also smelled it, it didn't have any sambal taste at all. I wasn't sure whether it was forgotten or just a small amount used. The vendor was very busy that day and it took a while for us to receive our order.

While waiting for the char kway teow, I decided to order laksa. Based on the reviews I read the laksa supposedly was good. While we were there might as well tried it.

In the end I think none of the items there deserve a second visit. But then again when it comes to taste, it's pretty subjective.
