Choon Hui Cafe - Kuching, Malaysia

Hubby's friend found out that we are in Kuching and told him that we needed to try this cafe. It's not too far from our Airbnb so we walked there to take a look.

It was a Sunday morning so the cafe was pretty busy. We saw some people standing outside but luckily there were done so we actually were able to get a table right away. I saw reviews recommending the popiah so I straight away ordered one. Hubby of course ordered his kolo mee and laksa. 

The popiah felt ordinary to me nothing special. Tasted a bit bland in my opinion. I have tasted better one. The kolo mee and laksa were good but nothing out of ordinary. In our opinion this cafe is not worth a visit.

It may be popular due to the fact that the cafe was visited by the late Anthony Bourdain before.
