St Peter's Church Padungan - Kuching, Malaysia

We happened to walk pass this church on a Sunday morning. I thought the church looked so grand and newish. We could hear the bell tolled every hour from our Airbnb apartment. we could even see the top of the church from our balcony. So hubby said he wanted to go and I was surprised. 

One morning we walked there. But before we went I searched St. Peter's Church and found out that the church has been rebuilt. Later on we met a man there named Lawrence. He told us that the old church which was still there could not hold enough parishioners during Easter and Christmas Eve masses.

Now this church was also listed as one of the tourist destination in Kuching. 😊
