McCormick & Kuleto's - San Francisco

Had the chance to check this place out a few weeks ago on a company event. The location was at the famous Ghirardeli Square. The day we were there the weather wasn't exactly the best. We got a private room towards the end of the restaurant with a huge bay window overlooking the bay. Even with the non-cooperating weather, the view was spectacular.

We started our lunch with their specialty clam chowder and sourdough bread. Awesome. It wasn't just the weather, but the soup was actually really tasty. The best clam chowder I've had. Then for the entree, I chose grilled prawn over orzo. Four huge grilled prawn on top of bed of orzo with bites of pine nuts here and there. The prawn worked well with the orzo. Tasty.

For dessert, we were served flourless chocolate cake with raspberry sauce. I normally don't like chocolate cake but I gave it a try. And wow it's dense, dark chocolatey and rich.

Next time we are in the area, we'll for sure make time to stop by and check out other stuff on the menu.
