Having experienced the drive to Vancouver, we decided that it's best to cover more driving on the first day so we could be less tired on the second day. But we could not leave too early from Vancouver due to morning rush hour. So we decided to split the distance sort of evenly in two days. And we decided to spend a night in Roseburg, Oregon.
This motel 6 is located just off I-5 in Roseburg. Around the corner on the same exit is Costco, an excellent place to fill up your tank if you are a member like us. We arrived there just before dark. Check in was quick since we made a reservation on their website. Apparently we weren't charged until we checked in.
We got room on third floor facing away from highway. The room was decent in size but clean. Not too many amenities compared to the Rodeway Inn Medford. No coffee maker, no hairdryer, no microwave and no fridge. Bed was comfortable with two pillows. TV got quite a lot of channels so that was a plus and we got to enjoy it since we checked in earlier.
A good value for one night rest. Will definitely use them again if we are in the area.
