Roseburg has been our overnight stop for the road trip going back to California. Just has Centralia been the destined overnight stop for the trip to Vancouver, BC. Roseburg is about 493 miles or 8 hours drive from Vancouver. It's almost half the distance between Vancouver, BC and San Jose. It worked out for us because most of the times we couldn't leave earlier than 9 am from Vancouver. So having Roseburg as a target enable us to have more leeway in case we want to stop some where. Like this time we had time to swing by the outlet mall at Woodburn, Oregon.
By the time we checked in to Travelodge it was around 8 pm. No rain, surprisingly. We finally out drive the system. But our friendly receptionist at Travelodge told us that it would come because it's Oregon ! Check in was a breeze. She told us that breakfast would be serve at 7 and asked if we would join them. We said no. She presented us two paper bag - grab and go breakfast. How neat !
We actually ate most of those items in the bags that night. See the picture to know what were included in the bag.
Room was a bit old and outdated but very clean. TV was huge and showed so many channels that we could handle. Coffee maker was provided. And I think I saw a safe too just in case you want to leave valuables in.
All in all we thought this Travelodge location provided good value for the money. Will definitely use it again on our next road trip.
