Airbnb in Odawara

Due to recent changes in Airbnb regulation by Japan government, we found that Airbnb wasn't very favorable for us anymore. The price on most listings have been adjusted accordingly and it's not very competitive compared to regular hotels or business hotels.

But for Odawara I found that there were not too many business hotels within our budget range. So I looked to Airbnb again and was able to find a guest house. It's a bedroom with shared bathroom. There were three bedrooms altogether. For the most part while we were there we hardly met anyone except on our last day.

The guest house is called Tsuu Guesthouse. The owner was very responsive and fast in responding. We requested an earlier check in due to our arrival from Tokyo. He allowed us to leave our suitcases in. Though in the end it wasn't needed because we didn't arrive as early as we thought.

The room was probably one of the biggest room we had during our three week trip in Japan. We also had access to the little patio where we could hang our laundry. It's within walking distance to Odawara JR station where we went pretty much every meal during our three day stay in Odawara.
