New Old Style - Nagoya, Jepang

We went around Nagoya Station and checked out my list of 'must eat items' for Nagoya. But in the end we decided that JPY2500 (USD22) for unagi (fresh water eel) was just out of our budget. So we walked out and looked for other alternatives. In the end we found a ramen restaurant that had interesting pictures posted outside.

There were a couple lining up in front of us. We were going to line up as well but was told to purchase tickets from the vending machine first. So we did. I got a salt flavor ramen and hubby got the house special, I guess, which comes with an egg side dish.



The food came out fast though when we finally were seated. But unfortunately we found the ramen were just too oily for our taste. The sliced pork that came were plentiful but very thick and chewy. We didn't enjoy the ramen at all. It was the worst meal we had during this Japan trip.
