Happened to read about this place online and was intrigued by the varieties of poutine they offer. So far I have been a poutine fans so I was curious to see all the different toppings available at Smoke's. Other than basic cheese curds and gravy, the poutines here are on the next level. With so many toppings to choose for and everything looked promising. It took me a while to decide.
One night on the way back from North Vancouver, I dragged hubby there. There's only two locations in Vancouver and we went to the one in Downtown on Granville. It was pass 8 pm and the restaurant was not super busy. We ordered the triple pork poutine with no extra.
It took less than 10 minutes to get our order. My photo probably didn't look quite like the one pictured on their website but taste wise it was amazing. The triple pork consisted of chipotle pulled pork, double smoked bacon and italian sausage. The order was pretty big and it was enough for both of us to share. The topping was abundant and we had to try to stir it in to make sure we got everything mixed well before digging into it. The flavor was just right, the sweetness from the pull pork, the saltiness of the bacon and the fries below it was piping hot.
