Brownie Recipe

Last week I got a box of premix gluten free brownie from Trader Joe's. Very easy to put together and baked to perfection. The only problem though they were a bit too sweet for my taste. So it left me craving for more. I found this Best Brownies Recipe by Allrecipes cut down the amount of sugar to half and left out the frosting. This is the adapted recipe :

Ingredients :
1/2 c butter
1/2 c white sugar
2 eggs
1 ts vanilla extract
1/3 c unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 c all purpose flour
1/4 ts salt
1/4 ts baking powder

Method:
Preheat oven to 350 F (175 C). Grease and flour an 8-inch square pan.

In a large saucepan, melt 1/2 c butter. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs and 1 ts vanilla. Beat in 1/3 c cocoa, 1/2 c flour, salt and baking powder. Spread batter into prepared pan.

Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 mins. Do not overcook.
