Pho Ha Noi - Cupertino

We are back in SF Bay Area ! This visit will include food tour to our old favorites. One of them is Pho Ha Noi. Today we found out that there is a new location in Cupertino ! Wow that's nice since that is closer to us. We decided to go earlier before 12 to avoid lunch crowd especially this is in the heart of Apple's headquarter. I imagine all these engineers flocking there on their lunch time looking to slurp in a hot bowl of noodle soup. 😋

So we got there before 12 and the place was quite busy. There were two parties in front of us and we waited for them to be seated before the waitress turned to us and seat us.

This location is actually bigger than the San Jose location. But I like the other location better because it's brighter and the floor being tile floor makes cleaning up better. Yeah...old carpet didn't appeal to me. Anyway, one thing remained the same, they still like to put paper on their tables. Seriously unnecessary waste. I saw that their tables are white granite looked countertop similar to our kitchen at home. So nice looking but yet got covered with paper. Why ?

Anyhow looking at that odd similarity made us convinced that this one is under the same ownership as the San Jose Pho Ha Noi. But their menu surely has expanded. Other than chicken and beef pho noodle soup, they also offer fried tofu and garlic noodles as side dish. We didn't try those this time since our eyes were only on the noodle soup. Next time we may actually try when we have a bigger group.

We ordered chicken combo noodle soup and beef noodle soup with rare beef. The chicken broth was as homely as chicken broth could possibly taste like. The broth was actually pretty subtle and not overly salted which allowed the true flavor of broth to stand out. The chicken breast meat was tender and moist.
