Our first stop for this road trip was Uttaradit. Araya Hotel was chosen because the location was next to the highway we used. The price was very decent. We paid THB500/night (USD 15.16).
The hotel has 3 levels with ample of parking spaces around the hotel. It even has a conference room in a separate building. A small gym at the back has a treadmill, elliptical and a few types of weight machines. We were pleasantly surprise with the gym considering the price we paid.
Our room was on second floor. There was no elevator. Room has a huge window facing inside with the view of next door building. There was a set of small table and two chairs just enough for us to sit and do a bit work.
We got a huge bed with two pillows. Mattress was firm and so were the pillows. Bathroom was a bit dark and shower area is typical Thai shower with no shower curtain.
We didn't pay for the breakfast so no comment on that. All in all I would recommend it to others passing through the area.
