This was the first of two hotels in Phuket that we had a chance to stay on this trip. This Ecoloft hotel is located in Phuket Town. Within walking distance to Old Town Phuket.
The concept of Ecoloft is minimalist. The room gives feeling of staying at a warehouse. Simple, spacious, airy and no nonsense decor. The wall was pretty much finished with no paint except for one accent wall of green color. The shelf close to the door was simple with wood plank put together. There was one bench made of finished cement top. We used that to unpack our suitcase and bags. No chairs. That's the only complaint we had about this hotel.
Bathroom was minimalist as well with laminate (?) floor that looks like wood. Some guests may feel that the bathroom connected with the toilet was a bit cramped. The sink is outside the bathroom facing the door with light around the mirror. On the other side of the mirror is a ledge which I liked to use to put my make up and other items.
This hotel was one of the hotels with spacious room. Its location makes it convenient to walk around Old Phuket Town and to local markets as well. This was one of my favorite hotels during this trip. 😍
