Soup from the kway teow was flavorful. Definitely had some MSG in it. 😋The kway teow was soft and thin. I guess most of the kway teow we had so far has been pretty thin, not as wide as Thailand. The meatball were made of minced pork and roughly threw in a ball. Tasted so homely with just a hint of salt and sesame oil.
Braised pork was very tasty. The pork had good combination of fatty and lean portion so not too sinful and overly rich. The broth was a nice combination of sweet and savory. Just perfect to go with rice. Hubby ordered the set one and he chose barley as the drink. Simple drink and not too sweet.
