Old Town White Coffee is one brand that can be found almost in any city in Malaysia. Some franchisee is better than others. We don't normally visit one but when we don't have any options like when we were in Langkawi then Old Town came to the rescue. 😎
Cenang Beach where we stayed has mostly Malay food. That one day we craved noodle soup, we decided to walk in Old Town at Cenang Mall. It was a hot day but their terrace seating was pretty cool. The manager was very friendly and patient with us. He stayed and chat with us for a bit even though he told us that it was busier earlier.
We got Ipoh chicken horfun, assam laksa and honey lemon drink. We had tasted Ipoh chicken horfun before and liked it, so we thought of trying it again. Ipoh chicken horfun is basically rice noodle soup with slices of chicken meat and shrimp. The broth is chicken broth with light curry flavor. I found the chicken a bit dry. But maybe that's how it supposed to be. Hubby loved his assam laksa.
