One of our travel companions chose this restaurant because it had good reviews as cheaper price for seafood. And the fact that it's on the way to Trat Natural Bay pier where we'd catch our ferry to Koh Chang.
It was a simple meal. Nothing too heavy. Oyster omellette, spicy fish with herbs, deep fried softshell crab, shrimp tempura and coconut milk tom yum soup. That's so far was the best tom yum I had this road trip. That's because we haven't had any. 😂
Total bill for our lunch of 6 people about THB1500 (USD 43).

For this buffet restaurant, the price was THB 329 (USD 9.50). Coming from Canada, this is a very good price. For that price, our group of 6 people got a grill and a hot plate and unlimited non alcoholic drinks. In Chiangrai, that price usually doesn't include drinks and ice.
In the end we decided to add a hot pot with tomyum based soup. That made it easier to cook big cut of fish and drop plenty of veggies and mushrooms. The ribs, chicken and kebab could be cooked on the grill. The hot plate was used to cook thinner cut of pork.

This restaurant is located at Bang Bao Pier. There's a fare of THB 60 per car to park there. But if you eat at one of the restaurants you could get reimbursed for the fare.
We ordered deep fried soft shell crabs, spicy seafood stir fry with plenty of herbs, prawn tempuras, seafood stir fry with herbs, steam snapper with lemon sauce, prawn cooked with vermicelli and stir curry seafood. All were so good and the seafood was fresh. None of the dishes were overly spicy. In fact the steam fish was a bit under spiced in my opinion.

As shown on the photos, we ordered a varieties of seafood dishes and veggies as well. Among the seafood dishes were stir fry curry with seafood, stir fry spicy basil with seafood, steam crab legs, and barbecued prawn.
All were delicious. The barbecued prawns didn't taste that much of the grilled smoky flavor. But I guess it's healthier. 😉 The crab legs were amazing. Most of us like crabs but too lazy to get our hands dirty. This way it was so easy.
