This visit to Canada we were lucky to stay with family. Except for one day when we feel like we needed a getaway ! 😎 That's when we started looking around and decided to spend a night in Richmond.
Richmond was our backyard up to June 2022. We loved Richmond. So going back there was like walking on memory lane. It's just happened that when I was looking for Airbnb as soon as I saw the photos I straight away knew which apartment building was the picture referring to.
Boy I was surprise to see what's the going rate these days for Airbnb. It's almost CAD300 ! This is not even July yet. But it's only one night and we will be staying in the central of Richmond and close to a lot of restaurants and eateries. Not that we would have that much room in our tummies.
The airbnb is a cute apartment with one bedroom and a bed in the living room. Kinda weird. But it's bright and has a huge balcony. Not too high. Just slightly a bit higher than skytrain level. The balcony opens to a small street between building. So it's pretty quiet.
Apartment has nice decor and equipped with all necessary appliances. Water kettle, coffee machine and even rice cooker. Plates, glasses and utensil were available as well. Small cute cozy apartment. They extra bed in the living room was weird but I guess useful for extra guest.
