I like our previous hotel that we stayed last year. You can see the post here. But I decided to try a different one. So we looked around and found this one and booked it through Agoda. One thing I noticed on its reviews were peoples raved about its breakfast. The varieties of its breakfast.
This hotel is located on Jl. Lembong. It's not as busy as let's say Ibis Grand Central which is centrally located close to Gedung Sate and the track field. The street around that hotel was always busy. This Crowne Plaza neighborhood is sort of quiet. Not congested.
The first thing I noticed when we walked in was it's vast lobby. High ceiling and long counter. Unfortunately at the time there were only two receptionists working. Not sure whether normally they would have more than two. But I felt that the long counter made it looked ridiculous to have only two people working. One on this side of the room and the other on the other side with like almost 20 feet apart. 😁
While I waited for the receptionist to check us in, a man brought us refreshment drinks. That's nice. The check in process didn't take long. And the receptionist tried to put all of us on the same floor which was nice of her. We also got higher floor rooms just as we requested when we made our booking.
All three of our rooms looked very similar especially the two that are located at the corner. Though later on I found out that the other corner room was warmer as the sun was on it at least most part of the day. And possibly the aircon didn't work as well. Our room didn't have big window so our room wasn't as bright.
In our room we got an arm chair by one window. And a desk and chair closer to the other window. The bathroom had both standing shower and bath tub. Bathroom amenities included tooth brush, sewing kit and etc. Quite a complete ensamble. Water kettle was provided as well though we didn't use it.
Can't wait to check out the breakfast the following morning. 😋
