I chose this airbnb because it supposed to be close to a lot of tourists attraction e.g. Concubine Lane, famous biscuit shops, Ipoh Parade mall, etc. When I checked Google map the location is close to a lot of eateries. That's definitely a plus.
We were required to check in with security downstairs (and later on checked out with security when checking out). Picked up key from mailbox before heading to the unit. The building is not new but not overly old either. This unit was just one of a lot of similar units for rental on Airbnb. The layout of the units are almost the same and differ only by how the hosts maintained them.
The photo above was what hooked me to this listing. But turned out that the unit wasn't as bright as it depicted. 😒 Damn photoshop ! But great job though, nonetheless 😍
The location is unbeatable. We walked everywhere since we just roamed around near city center. We even walked all the way to Concubine Lane though it was 1.2 km away. Not too far, really. While we were there the weather was just nice. Not too hot and mostly overcasted.
This unit also came with access to the swimming pool and gym. We tried both and pretty happy. Around the swimming pool was a covered track. So on rainy days, one could still exercise without getting wet.
