Our family stopped by here for lunch after our family gathering in Sentul. I guess it got our attention when we drove passed the previous night. Day time it's pretty easy to miss it but night time it was all lit up and bright.
It's a huge restaurant with open air dining. I guess that works for Sentul City because it's normally not as hot as Jakarta. We picked a table closer to the balcony to get more breeze. Luckily it's not too hot that day.
The menu was quite varied. I was surprise to see some twist to the traditional Indonesian food such as soto iga bakar betawi. Traditionally soto betawi is made with beef cooked in coconut milk. But this one also served with a piece of grilled ribs ! Amazing idea and it turned out very well too.
My sister in law ordered pasta aglio olio and it looked tasty. She liked it. Hubby wasn't very hungry so he actually ordered rujak (fruit salad with sweet sticky sauce). Our parents got steak and chicken satay. My brother and my nephew were busy eyeing their platter. We were pretty much set on our choices while those two still discussing which one to get. 😋
In the end they did decide on ribs and I think tomahawk platter. The size was impressive. The taste was different story though. Unfortunately the look and price didn't quite match the taste. It was pricey but in term of taste was below the other less pricey dishes.
