This restaurant was very close to our Airbnb apartment at Atlantis Residence. The bad thing was trying to cross the road as there was no pedestrian light nor any pedestrian crossing bridge. And it's too bad too that most of the eateries were on the opposite site of the apartment.
Lin Neo Delights is a restaurant specializing in peranakan food. Peranakan food is a fusion of Chinese and Malay cuisine. In the past I liked Peranakan food as it feels homely.
As there were only two of us, ordering dishes was a bit tricky. We managed to order kuih pai tee, kaki babi masak cuka (pork trotter cooked in vinegar), chicken pongteh. I like it that we could choose the dish size as there were only two of us.
All dishes were wonderful. The pork trotter was tender and flavorful. The chicken pongteh was delicious. The kuih pai tee were so crispy both the cups and the filling. Don't forget the cendol as we heard it was awesome. And it was indeed. Not too sweet as I think they used gula melaka only.
We spent about RM60 (USD 13).
